Dr. Nitya Prakash is the CEO of Quality New Zealand Education Limited, based in India. Dr. Nitya has a wealth of experience garnered from his illustrious career spanning various prestigious institutions and government bodies.
Prior to assuming his role at Quality New Zealand Education, Dr. Nitya Prakash served as the Co-founder and Global Head at IIHT’s Techademy Campus, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the institution’s trajectory towards excellence. Before that, he held the position of Founding Director at Chandigarh University’s Institute of Distance and Online Learning, demonstrating his proficiency in pioneering educational initiatives. His previous roles have impacted more than a million learners across the globe, and he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022.
Dr. Nitya’s influence extends beyond institutional boundaries, as he has actively contributed to government policymaking endeavours. His involvement as a Mentor of Change in the inaugural batch of Government of India’s think tank Niti Aayog – Atal Innovation Mission underscores his commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in the educational ecosystem. Additionally, his mentorship of various successful startups at IIT Bombay reflects his dedication to nurturing emerging talent and fostering a culture of innovation.
